About the Role
An opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Irrigation Technicians to join our Vegetation Team to provide irrigation installation and maintenance services for sportsgrounds, turfed areas and gardens within public reserves, parks and recreation areas.

What you will be doing:

- Follow maintenance activity specifications to complete a variety of tasks associated with the installation and maintenance of irrigations systems located in parks, gardens and sporting venues within allocated timeframes
- Installation of new irrigation systems
- Maintenance of existing irrigation systems
- Irrigation of turf and garden areas in accordance with horticultural practices
- Installation and maintenance of surface and sub-surface drainage in turfed and garden areas
- Minor repairs and maintenance works on parks infrastructure

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
Essential:
1. Tertiary qualification in Horticulture or equivalent trade certificate
2. First Aid & CPR certificate
3. White Card - General Construction Induction Licence
4. NSW Drivers Licence (Class LR) or willing to obtain
Desirable:
5. Chemical Safety - AQF3 Accreditation (Desirable)
6. Confined Spaces Gas test & Issue Permit Licence (Desirable)
7. Confined Spaces - Operate Breathing Apparatus Licence (Desirable)
8. Confined Space Rescue Licence (Desirable)
9. Gas Test Atmosphere Licence (Desirable)
10. Oxygen Fuel Equipment & Handling Licence (Desirable)

Position details:
Permanent full-time role on a nine-day fortnight, W0095 Salary: Up to $68K + Superannuation + To and From Council Vehicle
