Reporting into the Director, People and Culture, they are now seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join the broader HR team and provide WHS support to the business.

About the role

Working within a close knit team, your core responsibilities will include:
Provide health and safety support across multipole sites, in a centralised health and safety service;
Assist with the development and review of risk assessments and SWMS, ensuring compliance with industry legislation;
Conduct safety audits, and ensure robust policies and procedures are in place to mitigate risk;
Manage the incident management and safety management system, coordinate monthly reporting, and managing return to work cases;
Support the organisation to ensure the continual improvement of risk and hazard identification and mitigation; and

Support the development and implementation of WHS training to build the capability of front line workers coupled with the improvement of the organisation's safety culture.

About the person

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
Certificate IV in WHS or the willingness to obtain this qualification (paid for by the organisation);
Experience in working with safety management and incident management systems, and running comprehensive reports for leadership;
Knowledge of contemporary legislative WHS policies and requirements;
Strong foundational skills including attention to detail, efficiency, strong communication and engagement, and the ability to hold your own; and

Current 'C' class driver's licence with regular access to vehicle.
