We strive to ensure our residents feel at home in our Aged Care Facilities. Residents have their own room, and there are various common areas where they can meet to eat, socialise, or be active. **What are the benefits?**
- Paid employment under our Enterprise Agreement - the salary is above trainee and award wages, and will increase again after 3 months
- A Training Contract - that we will pay for - with a registered training provider, to get a Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing specialisation) within 12 months
- Paid time to complete the training on the job
- Our own induction, training and support program over the first year.

These positions are based at **St Pauls Aged Care in Caboolture**. Find out more about the location here

**What’s** the commitment?**
- Work a minimum of 15 hours per week on a **permanent part-time contract**.** If you are willing and able to work additional hours, please discuss this at your interview.
- Work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends.
- Commit to the training and study that is delivered online via zoom virtual sessions, as well as any reading and written work required.

**What does a Personal Carer do?**

You will provide quality care that includes:

- Providing personal, physical and emotional support to our residents
- Assisting with personal care, meals, and activities
- Assisting with nursing care plans and funding submissions for each resident.
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships within the service and members of the external health care team.

**What’s** the timeline?**

You must be available to participate in a paid 5-day initial block of training from **Friday 16 June to Thursday 22 June 2023**. There will then be 2 days of paid training per month for approximately 10 months.
