We are looking for a friendly and an energetic medical receptionist that is ready for an exciting new opportunity. In this casual position you will report directly to the Practice Manager. You will be managing a busy front desk reception, welcoming our patients to the Centre, supporting our health care professionals as well as general administration duties. This is a challenging role with a difference. If you love helping people and enjoy working in fast paced environments then this is the perfect opportunity for you

Our Medical Centre is open 7 days a week from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday, therefore, the position will suit someone who is flexible and has the capacity to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- The ability to provide high quality and efficient reception and business support to the practice.
- Meeting and greeting of patients.
- Patient correspondence, including a high volume of internal and external calls.
- Organisation/ booking/ rescheduling of appointments.
- Organisation and preparation of referral documentation.
- Patient record maintenance.
- Ensuring both patient and doctor requests are attended to in a timely manner.
- Processing payments including daily reconciliations.
- Opening and closing of the practice when necessary.

Experience & Attributes
- Exceptional customer service skills with previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Best Practice software is an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of a multifaceted team and independently.
- Neat and professional presentation.
- Display a strong ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and respond well to fluctuating workflow.
- The ability to handle confidential information discretely.
- Be confident and self-motivated with an excellent work ethic and an eye for detail.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
