Our client is the lead agency for the Latrobe Mental Health and Wellbeing Local (MH&WL). The MH&WL is an innovative solution to deliver on the compelling vision outlined through the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System. Delivered in partnership with two other organisations, MH&WL brings together three organisations that are leading providers with extensive experience and success in the delivery of community-based care.

**Key Duties**:
The Clinical Service Manager (CSM) will ensure the MH&WS provides safe and effective, immediate, and short to medium term responses to adults and older adults experiencing a crisis or significant distress. As the CSM you will initiate, lead, and coordinate strategic partnerships within the community, including with Public Mental Health Services, local government, community housing, and health and welfare providers, to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for consumers.

The Clinical Service Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of services to adults and older adults experiencing emotional distress, crises, mental ill health and/or addiction, and to their families, support people and carers through a "no wrong door" approach. The service will receive referrals from GPs in the area, public mental health services, emergency services, community organisations as well as self-referrals from members of the community.

In collaboration with partners, staff and consumers, the CSM will identify service gaps in the local community and develop appropriate models of service delivery to address these gaps. The CSM will take a lead role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Neami MH&WS with the support of the Regional Manager.

The CSM will ensure services are provided in an accessible manner with mechanisms in place to regularly monitor the level of access achieved.

The CSM will provide operational management and clinical leadership to the multi-disciplinary team, maintaining a culture within the workplace that promotes Dignity, Respect, and Inclusion for all.

It is completely office/site based. Currently, the MH&WL Service operates Monday to Saturday, as follows:
Monday - Friday: 9am - 8pm

Saturday: 12pm - 8pm

and on Sundays by appointment.

**You will have**:

- The Clinical Service Manager is required to be a Registered Psychologist, Registered Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or a Social Worker with Australian Association of Social Work Registration.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in the Human Services Sector
- Experience working within a recovery-oriented service
- Post Graduate qualifications in Mental Health and/or Accreditation or Credentialing in Mental Health will be highly regarded

**Mandatory role requirements**:

- National Criminal History Check (Police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
- Current Working with Children Check required before commencement of work
- A valid and current Australian Driver License and access to personal vehicle
- Australian Working Rights
- Current AHPRA or Australian Association of Social Work Registration.
