We are seeking compassionate and motivated professionals to join the Forensic Disability Clinical Services as Psycho-Educational Trainers. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining experience in working with individuals with intellectual disability and those in a forensic disability residential setting. You will get to provide intensive treatment to support positive behaviour change and work alongside a highly supportive multi-disciplinary team.

**About the Role**

As a Psycho-Educational Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based psycho-educational programs to forensic disability clients. These programs, delivered in both individual and group formats, aim to foster prosocial skill development and enhance clients' quality of life and community reintegration. The Psycho-Educational Trainer is particularly well suited for individuals who are:

- interested about working with forensic clients and those with intellectual disability and complex needs,
- keen to develop expertise in forensic and multidisciplinary service environments.
- collaborative and adaptive, and supportive of high-quality service delivery
- capable of navigating the complexities of a dynamic and multifaceted service environment with professionalism and empathy.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Co-facilitate group treatment and skills based programs for ID offenders in conjunction with other professionals.
- Liaise with other staff and external service providers regarding the needs of forensic clients and their families and the provision of appropriate services.
- Under supervision, prepare and conduct individual psycho educational training sessions for forensic clients including interventions to assist clients with self-esteem, anger management, mood regulation, and communication skills.
