The Glass Process Supervisor & Quality Controller main responsibility is to ensure that glass being processed are up to the highest standard and quality.

Glass being cut must be of the correct size, correct type and in accordance with the job specifications. Ensure that polishing machine is in good working condition. Identifies and report machine maintenance issues.

Additionally, supervise subordinates working with them, making sure that the correct processes are being adhered.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Check glass and cutting summary for glass type, sizes, quantity and cutting procedure
- Reviews production schedule
- Check for glass stock
- Cut glass in accordance with the cutting summary
- Supervises and coordinates workers engaged in cutting and polishing
- Quality Control both unprocessed and processed glass by examining for flaws such as scratches and cracks to ensure maintenance of standards.
- Record and report completed jobs
- Inspects tools and equipment for malfunction and orders repairs or replacement, if necessary
- Identify room for improvement
- Liaise with Factory Manager
- Abide to WH&S guidelines and identify WH&S issues and report, as necessary
- Maintain an organised and clean factory
- Observe all WHS requirements relating to the use of forklift and all machines, tools, and work stations
- Take part in WHS consultation process
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of other employees
- Cooperate with the employer so far as necessary to enable compliance with the requirements of the WHS Act

Qualification & experience:

- Tertiary qualifications in manufacturing or relevant field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant role

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
