- ** Be an integral part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Spiritual and Pastoral care team.**

We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
- An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic and motivated Spiritual Care Practitioners to join our team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.

**Your new role**:

- Provide Spiritual/Pastoral care to a wide range of inpatients, and their families and carers, at Royal Melbourne Royal Park aged care campus, and main campus.
- assessing and prioritising Pastoral/Spiritual needs and developing appropriate care plans
- responding to specific referrals in a timely manner and documenting appropriately
- assisting with the provision of religious and spiritual resources, including Memorial services
- Be involved in organisational education, professional development and research.

**About you**:

- You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style
- Qualifications in Pastoral/Spiritual Care care or equivalent
- Advanced Certificate Clinical Pastoral Education (or equivalent)
- Membership of Spiritual Care Australia at advanced level (or eligibility), with an ability to function at Level 3 of the Spiritual Health Association Capability Framework.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional development
- Multi-faith and multicultural sensitivity
- Computer literacy (you will be trained to use EPIC Electronic Medical Record)
