**Make an impact at Serco**

As a Master < 45, you will ensure the safe operation and maintenance of vessels at Garden Island. Reporting to the Site Marine Manager, you’ll provide professional seamanship and marine engineering expertise, maintaining equipment and ensuring operational readiness. Your focus will be on compliance, safety, and the efficient running of vessels.

As a Master < 45, you’ll make a positive impact by:

- Managing and participating in shipboard drills and exercises
- Overseeing general marine operations, including berthing, anchoring, and cargo handling
- Conducting marine engineering tasks and maintenance relevant to your qualifications
- Managing vessel and crew to ensure operational safety and compliance
- Supporting personnel training and vessel maintenance planning
- Administering safety logs and ensuring vessel readiness for operations
- Collaborating with team members to support Naval operations
