**Opportunity**
Reporting through to the National HSE Manager, the primary purpose of this position will be to successfully head up the HSE function in Victoria, ensuring the safety and wellness of our people as well as our compliance with the relevant health and safety acts, regulations and legislation.
To paint a picture around the scope of the role, in Victoria there are approximately 1000 subcontractors who work across a number of worksites as well as over 400 team members who are both office and work from home based.
Your ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with people inside and outside of the business will be the key enabler of your success and impact across the business. We are looking for a Team Leader who can really lift the profile of our HSE function in Victoria and elevate the awareness and commitment to “_Safety and Wellness_” across our teams to becoming _first and front of mind_.

Additional Selection Criteria includes:
- Demonstrated experience working in a HSE Team Leader position.
- A well-developed knowledge of HSE and Workcover legislation and best practice.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Confident reporting and analysis skills, complemented by a strong interest in solving complex problems.
- A good technology skillset; and,
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
A formal qualification in Workplace Health & Safety is required as is experience working in an AS45001 certified environment.
