**Overview**

Offering the best of a country health working environment within close proximity to metropolitan Adelaide, Tanunda Hospital is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join a fantastic team. In this integral role, you will be responsible for the coordination of the Facilities Service/Department to ensure the timely, efficient repair and maintenance of all plant, equipment, buildings, fixtures and fittings across the entire organisation and associated grounds. Primarily, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Maintenance area. This will include supervision of contractors, maintaining plant, equipment and grounds to a satisfactory condition, as well as the timely completion of daily breakdown maintenance requisitions and monthly PM schedules. Within a very supportive environment that nurtures employees to grow and develop, you will have the opportunity to utilise a wide variety of plant and equipment and gain experience on how they operate and are maintained.

With a proven track record in a healthcare setting, you will have considerable experience in a broad range of maintenance activities/repairs, including building, grounds and equipment maintenance. A proven problem solver who is able to use initiative, along with previous experience managing contractors and ensuring plant and equipment are maintained to manufacturers' recommendations. You will possess sound knowledge of the appropriate Standards in relation to the area of practice, in addition to a good understanding of general maintenance and repair functions.
