Medium Ridge Driver

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform pre-start check according to business guidelines.
- Deliver products safely to site.
- Always provide professional customer service, by engaging the customer, answering questions, and assisting the customer with requests (provided they are not breaking any guidelines)
- Ensure All Green procedures and guidelines are followed whilst on site.
- Contact dispatch if any issues arise.
- Always communicate with yard staff and follow instructions for loading.
- Must check and ensure accuracy of products loaded.
- Secure loads when required as per protocols or if instructed by a leader.
- Assist yard staff and team members with loading if required.
- Be prepared to lift and load product and hardware up to 20kg in weight.
- Complete any instructions required with the CA system and following business guidelines associated with this.
- Fuel truck daily
- Report any faults or maintenance issues on the CA system.
- Report any urgent maintenance or safety issues to Dispatch immediately.
- Complete end of day checks according to business guidelines.
- Keep truck clean inside and out.
- Ensure uniforms worn are in a condition that provides a professional image for the branding of the business.
- Must be able to drive the truck allocated to you (according to licence and experience) without any issues or assistance and be prepared to drive a truck of a lower grade if required.
- Must ensure all legal requirements are met.
- Be prepared to help in other areas of the business if contracted hours are required to be met.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Prefer at least one year of driving experience.
- Prefer tautliner experience.
- Prefer tipping experience.
- Must have applicable Truck License (HR Licence)
- Must not have previous driving offenses.
- Be able to lift 20kg weights.
- Very good communication skills, including being able to engage with customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
