**Client Relationship Manager - 12-month Fixed Term Contract**
**Overview**:
As a Client Relationship Manager (CRM), your role is pivotal in delivering on Link Market Services Limited's (Link) commitment to understanding, anticipating, and managing the needs and expectations of our clients. This 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave, is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional in the financial markets industry, with expertise in share registry and ASX trading. The position will be based in our Sydney CBD office on George Street, with hybrid working arrangements available.
**Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with fee-paying clients and internal departments, proactively managing client expectations.
- Conduct meetings with clients, anticipating their evolving needs.
- Oversee project and mailing management, including overall responsibility for each client's Annual General Meeting.
- Ensure all registry tasks achieve desired outcomes for both Link and its clients.
- Ensure clients comply with regulatory requirements and contractual terms of business.
- Develop long-term relationships based on knowledge, trust, and added value, fostering stability and incremental income.
- Negotiate appropriate commercial terms that reflect risks and costs while delivering optimal service to the client.
- Achieve new business revenue, tracking progress against targets following company reporting standards.
- Review and provide input into client complaints reporting and client query management reporting.
- Ensure operational controls align with established procedures, mitigating business risks.
- Effectively manage issues and queries against agreed service levels in collaboration with internal departments.
**Experience & Personal Attributes**:
- Proven experience in a relationship management or client-facing role within the financial markets industry (e.g., Share Registry, Capital Markets, or Brokerage).
- Excellent track record of building and maintaining productive relationships, generating cross-selling and new sales opportunities.
- Successful management of clients across diverse industries.
- Demonstrated experience in managing challenging discussions or situations and turning them into positive outcomes.
- Confident and professional communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail, with proven ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently when needed.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
