**Inventory & Procurement Controller**

**About the role**

This position will report directly to both the Operations Manager and Finance Manager as a hands-on role, based in our New Modernized manufacturing facility at Wellcamp. The role will work closely with manufacturing and operation teams to ensure all facets of our operations are supported through timely and cost-efficient manner.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage regular order patterns with no critical out stock occurrences
- Complete regular stock-takes to ensure accuracy of Inventory levels
- Ensure procurements are carried out in a timely manner to ensure manufacturing production is not interrupted and reorder points on min/max levels are maintained
- Identify and ensure all procurement is fit for purpose and are strategized in a cost effective manner
- Ensure purchasing approvals and requisitions are followed up and maintained in conjunction with the Operations Manager
- Developing, Improving and Maintaining accurate processes and existing systems for stock controls
- A minimum of 5 years experience in hands-on purchasing and inventory control roles ideally within a manufacturing environment
- An understanding of planning and scheduling practices and procedures, with experience an added advantage
- Well-matured communication skills in a dynamic and closely knit working environment as well as professional manner with external suppliers and customers
- Pro-active, hard working and determined mindset through completing tasks in a efficient and timely manner
- Intermediate Knowledge of Excel; Some sort of exposure and knowledge of ERP or inventory control systems; Good Housekeeping and controls in Outlook with good, clear communication skills.
