Ipswich, Australia Teach Queensland Full time

Grantham (pop ~ 650) is a thriving rural town and locality in the heart of the rich Lockyer Valley, with the beautiful Lake Wivenhoe at your backdoor. With a number of larger towns at your doorstep, you'll be only 30 minutes from Toowoomba (Queensland's largest inland city: pop-170,000) where you'll find a vibrant cultural, dining and entertainment scene, beautiful parks and gardens, and 45 minutes from Ipswich, on the Warrego Highway, and then on to Brisbane and the coasts beyond.
Grantham State School students are nurtured in a warm and caring environment. The school is small enough to retain a family atmosphere, where everyone is known by name, but big enough to offer a broad range of experiences to all students. Every building is air-conditioned, including the new library opened in late 2011, and each classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, which greatly enhance student learning. All students have access to computers in their rooms, with additional laptops for use by Year 5/6 students.
Departmental accommodation may also be available.
Please refer to our website to get an insight to what we do and achieve each week.
