**Design Verification Assistant**

**About the Role**:

- **Permanent full-time as Design Verification Assistant**:

- Working in ISO 13485 accredited manufacturing environment
- Extensive training provided to ensure smooth transition to the role and the company
- Monday-Friday office hours.

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Designing and executing scientific experiments.
- Being responsible for the proper recording and retaining of project information.

Summarizing, interpreting, reviewing data, and drawing conclusions.
- Assisting in departmental activities, including generating study protocols and data.
- Ensuring departmental activities adhere to SpeeDx QMS.
- Collaborating across departments throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Communicating and presenting findings to senior colleagues, research collaborators and the broader scientific community as required.
- Participating in the training of other laboratory staff in the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Participating in general office duties including maintenance of databases and documentation as required.
- Working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Assisting in maintaining the laboratory facility, ensuring its equipment, chemicals and reagents are used safely according to current legislation and Standard Operating

Procedures.

**To be successful in this role you will require skills & experience in or similar to the below**:

- BSc in a life science field or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience working in a molecular field or equivalent.
- Ability to manage and prioritize between multiple projects
- Ability to work with all levels; able to communicate up and communicate down
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly and effectively to changing environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products

**Desirable Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a PC2 laboratory
- Previous experience working with automated liquid handling instruments
- Experience working within a QMS system

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $59,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
