Our client, a nationally recognised therapy services provider, is seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioners to join their vibrant South West Sydney team. This is an incredible opportunity to enrich the lives of NDIS participants, aiding in their development, independence, and overall wellbeing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assessing and Planning**: Work with NDIS participants and their support networks to assess needs and develop individualised, person-centred plans.
- **Support Plan Delivery**: Implement evidence-based support plans, focusing on positive behaviour support frameworks and reducing restrictive practices.
- **Goal Setting**: Assist participants in developing meaningful goals and practical strategies, both in-home and community settings.
- **Advocacy and Role Modelling**: Act as a best practice advocate and model within the multidisciplinary team.
- **Collaborative Teamwork**: Engage in collaborative efforts with a multidisciplinary team to enhance participant outcomes.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- **Current Suitability**: Confirmation by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at Core or Provisional level.
- **Educational Background**: Preferably a degree in allied health or related fields.
- **Skills**: Strong report writing, time management, and organisational capabilities.
- **Passion for Disability Sector**: A genuine interest and proactive attitude towards improving lives in the disability sector.
