**About the Role**:
The Brigade Finance team is a dedicated function within the Finance & Procurement department, and is responsible for developing and monitoring policy, procedures and strategies designed to govern CFA's volunteer fire brigades' financial activity.
CFA's Finance & Procurement Department is currently undergoing significant policy, process, and control improvement. The role's primary purpose is to lead the development of doctrine related to brigade finances, and to ensure the successful delivery of projects as assigned.
This position will be responsible for developing documentation is consistent with sections contained in the CFA Act and Regulations, Financial Management Act and Standing Directions. Please see attached PD for more detail.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or significant experience in a similar type role.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare briefings, reports and/or project plans, using effective written, verbal and information technology communications.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multiple and/or complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and processes to enhance service delivery capability.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to plan, develop and deliver clear comprehensive reports.
- Excellent technical skills in relevant software packages and ability to administer databases, systems and processes.
- Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet tight work demands.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and manage relationships, liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders.
