This highly respected software Company house seeks a talented Billings Specialist who has had AR exposure.

You will be joining the Finance team, and reporting to the CFO, your primary responsibilities will be Billings and Accounts Receivable, This is an autonomous role that offers will flexibility, support and training.

Offering a hybrid work schedule working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Duties include:

- Invoice generation and billing up to 800 customers each month.
- Review and perform monthly billing checks on all automated billing files generated by the AR billing system.
- Account Reconciliations.
- Documenting processes and workarounds
- Generation of aged debtors report
- Work collaboratively with the Sales / Account Management, Project and Product teams and ensure clients are billed accurately.
- Prepare quarterly Sales commission for the Sales / Account Management team.
- Liaising closely with credit control and operations teams.
- Maintaining list of credit notes
- Liaising regularly with Department Heads / Managers.
- Review customer agreements and enter data in to the company system.
- Handling billing queries and using company systems to log issues.
- Prepare and distribute monthly billing reports for internal stakeholders to review billing items prior to month end.
- Preparation of month end and customer revenue analysis reports and commentary.
- Directly supporting the CFO with projects and process improvement

**Core skills**

Ideally, you will have a background in
- Invoicing and billing and have had Accounts Receivable experience
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Be detailed orientated
- Have experience meeting deadlines.
- Be self-motivated and enjoy a challenge yourself Accounting Qualifications (Degree, Diploma or Certificate) are highly advantageous.
- 5+ years of accounting experience managing large company receivables accounts.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Macros, and Word.
- Global billing knowledge (different currenciesForex knowledge).
- Efficient and knowledgeable with AR process.
- An enthusiasm to learn and grow in the position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to commute comfortably to Sydney CBD.
- ERP systems experience.
- Experienced working with auditors and compliance standards.
