Childcare Traineeship

**Kingsford Early Learning Centre has a new opportunity for you**

We are a well-established child care centre offering the highest levels of care, due to growth we have a new opening to take on the next industry superstar, whether you thinking of leaving school or are keen to get back into the workforce we are keen to meet you. We are offering a full-time 12-month traineeship working at our Kingswood site.

**Ideally, you will be**:

- Local to the area.
- Have a passion for Child development.
- Be reliable and want to learn.
- Committed to completing a Certificate 3 in Childcare.
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

**At Kingsford Early Learning Centre **we have a team of dedicated and enthusiastic educators aimed at providing high-quality Early Childhood Education and Care. With 20 years combined experience in delivering high-quality care and service to our communities, we understand and value the importance of a great start in children’s learning journey.

Our team of educators are genuine and motivated individuals who treat each child equally, strive to meet the needs of each child and most importantly foster respect and empathy as part of their teaching. We see ourselves as advocates for children’s rights and voices, and acknowledges the significance of their presence in their early childhood stage of lives. Our educators share a common goal of being part of shaping each child’s early lives and helping them reach developmental milestones.

**Benefits of doing a Traineeship**
- One of the best factors of doing a traineeship is gaining the experiences you will need and learning and gaining knowledge in a hands-on approach.
- You will work closely with the kids, families and staff which will help you learn about child development and promote learning.
- A traineeship will also give you a taste of this industry and help you to decide whether it’s right for you. It's only 12 months (for cert 3) or more (for diploma) and you become nationally recognised as a qualified childcare worker.
- You have the opportunity to learn from experienced childcare professionals, who will be there to support and teach you.
- You are getting paid to interact and play with children (you will understand during your traineeship that it is a lot more than playing with kids).
- The best bit about starting a traineeship is the attachment you will have with the kids at the centre. There is nothing like going to work and enjoy what you are doing. The children will always make you smile and laugh, every day is a different day and it's an exciting industry to be a part of.
- There are always plenty of jobs available within this childcare industry and you can work your way up into a better position depending on your experiences and further qualifications.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
