About the Role

The Copywriter works with the Creative and Creator teams to write compelling, on brand copy for campaigns. We operate a hybrid agency model working with external partners on our brand strategy and overarching tier 1 brand campaigns and have a talented in-house creative and production team that bring to life creative for our tier 2-4 campaigns across both consumer and business marketing.

This role contributes to defining the brand tone of voice and collaborates on creative ideas to bring this to life across all communications.

**Your Focus**:

- Contribute to the Cashrewards tone of voice guidelines ensuring they are maintained and kept up to date. Identify opportunities to refresh the tone of voice for the Cashrewards brand periodically and assist in providing training and guidance for the broader team about how to write in the Cashrewards tone.
- Develop copy and compelling headlines for Cashrewards tier 2-4 brand, acquisition, product and owned retail marketing campaigns. This includes all Cashrewards owned campaign events such as Cashrewards Day, Staxback, Style Drop and seasonal retail events such as Black Friday, Boxing Day and End of Financial Year.
- Work with the creatives to collaborate on creative concept ideas, contributing your copy expertise.
- Develop copy to align to concepts for merchant campaigns across both cashback and retail media placements.
- Write long form copy for the B2B marketing team across case studies, sales presentations and pitch decks.
- Review the Cashrewards blog and work collaboratively on enhancing this content and creating new blog content as required which meets B2B marketing and SEO requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the SEO manager to ensure all copy written for web and app environments utilizes best practice SEO principles.

**About You**:

- Strong creative writer with the ability to create engaging copy that brings to life the Cashrewards brand and tone of voice.
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide copy guidance to the team of creators.
- Openness to receiving and accommodating feedback from key stakeholders around the business to improve creative output.
- Ability to articulate the rationale behind decisions and creative ideas.
- Ability to prioritise time between multiple competing projects and briefs.
- Experience in copywriting roles either within an agency environment or in-house creative team.
- Watertight grasp of grammar and punctuation, with a healthy understanding of when to break the rules (and the ability to express that clearly to others).
- Experience in contributing copy ideas through the concepting process.
- Experience in both consumer and business writing and an understanding of how to flex the tone of voice depending on the audience and environment.
