**About the role**

We are looking for a high-performing innovative communicator to engage with internal and external stakeholders for Safework NSW. This includes research, writing, implementation and evaluation to support the delivery of key programs and priorities of the newly established Health and Safe Design directorate. You will be part of a dedicated team of specialists supporting an integrated approach to the prevention and management of physical and psychosocial hazards and risk in the workplace.

The role will focus on supporting the Health and Safe Design directorate with:

- Stakeholder engagement plans and communication plans
- Stakeholder communication toolkits to share with stakeholders
- General stakeholder advice or support
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to support the product design and promotion of key programs and priorities
- Curating and delivering external content and resources across multiple channels

**Key accountabilities**

We will expect you to:

- Build a sound understanding of internal and external stakeholder needs and establish and maintain productive working relationships to ensure objectives are met within the Health and Safe Design directorate.
- Write, edit and develop engagement and communication plans for key programs and priorities of the Health and Safe Design directorate.
- Stay abreast of government standards and guidelines, current insights, and industry practices.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have Tertiary Qualification in relevant field and/or relevant work. You have strong engagement and communication skills and enjoy building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You are detail focused, collaborative, innovative and able to work in fast-paced and changeable environment with competing priorities.

In this role you will be organised and adaptable to changing timeframes. You will be able to distil complex information into plain English to ensure engagement and communications are clear, balanced and accessible to a range of stakeholders including businesses, employers, industry associations and employees.
