**About this opportunity**
We are looking for an individual who is experienced and passionate about developing and managing competency frameworks. Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Development this role involves:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to define, create and then manage a competency management framework which complies with the Rail Safety National Law (RSNL) and addresses Yarra Trams’ business needs and objectives
- Implementing and managing a record keeping platform for our employees that provides recognition of the users’ current competencies and assessment status and,
- Engaging with stakeholders, employees and managers to ensure full alignment, understanding and use of the competency management framework and record keeping platform
**About you**
Ideally you will have:
- Prior experience developing or managing competency frameworks, undertaking of competency assessments, and AQF requirements
- Experience working in a safety focused and regulated environment such as rail, aviation, oil and gas or heavy vehicle
- Demonstrated experience in engaging and managing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in leading projects
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Education, Business Management or similar with a focus upon role competencies and job details
