Asphalt Float Driver

We are currently seeking a skilled Float Driver to join our client's Asphalt team. Based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, your responsibilities will revolve around transporting asphalt equipment within the Melbourne Metro area. Your role is vital in ensuring that the asphalt crews have the essential machinery needed to build environmentally conscious roads. This is a permanent position for the night shift, with work scheduled from 6 pm on Sundays through Thursdays, occasionally extending to Friday nights.

**To be eligible for this position**:

- Possess a valid heavy combination license.
- Hold a current White Card.
- Have prior experience in floating asphalt machinery, including loading and unloading Pavers, Profilers, and Rollers.
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in driving floats.
- Hold roller tickets.
- Demonstrate a solid mechanical aptitude.
- Exhibit the ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently.
- Be open to working weekends and night shifts.
- Possess knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) principles.
