**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Strategic Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Sutherland Shire through the development of land use planning strategies and policies. You will collaborate with stakeholders, undertake research, and prepare policy papers to support informed decision-making.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in environmental planning or a related field.
- Strong understanding of planning issues and practises.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT, report writing, and presentation skills.

Experience with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, GIS, and computer modelling is desirable.

- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated week commencing 13th May 2024.
- **Package**:$82,668 - $106,863** **gross p.a. plus 11% superannuation.
- **Hours of work**:Full-time, 35 hours per week, with the option of a 19 day month.
