Video Editor

**Job Overview**:
As a video editor for Vibez Creative, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos that help our clients grow their businesses. Your duties will include:

- Editing video footage to create engaging, informative content
- Working with our team to brainstorm video ideas and concepts
- Collaborating with clients to understand their goals and needs
- Selecting and integrating appropriate music, sound effects, and graphics
- Ensuring that videos are delivered on time and meet our high standards of quality

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Edit raw footage into polished videos that meet our clients' needs
- Collaborate with our team to develop creative video concepts and ideas
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their video goals and needs
- Select appropriate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance videos
- Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and meet our high standards of quality

**Qualifications / Recruitment notes**:

- Experience in video editing and production
- Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro
- Knowledge of video production best practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines
- Passion for filmmaking and video production

**Working Days & Hours**:
We have a standard 5-7 day turnaround for projects. In order to meet this timeline, our team works 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) weekends if needed.

**Daily Tasks**:

- Edit and produce high-quality videos that meet our clients' needs
- Collaborate with our team to develop creative video concepts and ideas
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their video goals and needs
- Select appropriate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance videos
- Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and meet our high standards of quality
- Check the slack channel daily for any new updates

**Job Type**: Subcontract

**Salary**: $20.33 - $25.00 per hour
