**About the Role**

Based at our Dandenong site with the option for hybrid working, our Next Generation Trams team is seeking the experience and dedication of a Technical Writer. This role is accountable for reviewing contractual information, understanding the scope and translating that information into technical documentation and materials.

Fundamentally, the successful applicant will show an ability to understand and translate technical information into clear and effective documentation, reports and procedures. It will call on collaboration and communication skills to ensure the inputs and outputs align and the relevant end users are satisfied, and a flexible and resilient attitude.

**Key responsibilities include;**
- Lead all technical writing activities for the Validation and Routine Test Procedures, check sheets, manuals and reports
- Develop Test Procedures collaboratively, gaining inputs and approvals from specialist teams and stakeholders
- Support the Project Core Team in all applicable Product Introduction Processes and the establishment of the strategy and mobilization plan for Product Introduction in service
- Maintain and update relevant trackers, procedures and reports in accordance with status updates and/or customer or engineering design changes

**To be successful in this role, we are looking for;**
- Proven experience in a similar Technical Writing or Document Delivery role
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical information and manufacturing processes and translate to written materials, reports and procedures
- A detail oriented, collaborative and resourceful individual who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in their work.
