**The Organisation**
- This health service is a major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. The health service cares for over 97,000 patients admitted to hospitals each year and assists with the delivery of over 3,300 babies. You will work in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology alongside a team of 15 Consultants and locally trained RANZCOG trainee registrars.

**The Job**
- As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will provide high-quality medical services that will encompass ward, theatre and outpatient care
- The role is based across the health services’ various campuses giving you the opportunity to to travel and work across the sites
- You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members including allied health clinicians, nursing and medical staff
- You will have the opportunity to drive related research and innovation
- Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologists will provide leadership and support for junior medical staff, and ensure that registrars are given appropriate access to clinical activities
