As we grow, we are looking to enhance our team’s capabilities by developing tailored training programs for both existing and new staff members. We are building a training academy to ensure that we remain at the forefront of industry trends and innovations.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced **Training and Assessor Specialist** to help us design, implement, and assess comprehensive training modules. This role is crucial to upskilling our team and ensuring consistent, high-quality treatments for our clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Develop Training Programs**: Create and implement bespoke training modules in advanced dermal therapies, in-house protocols, and service standards.
- **Assess Staff Competency**: Conduct assessments to evaluate staff skills and ensure competency in all areas, including clinical treatments, client consultations, and safety practices.
- **Provide Ongoing Training**: Deliver training sessions to new and existing staff in treatment techniques, product knowledge, customer service, and compliance with policies.
- **Monitor Staff Performance**: Identify training gaps and provide targeted support through coaching and mentoring.
- **Ensure Compliance**: Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks, such as WHS policies and infection control.
- **Support the Development of the Training Academy**: Assist in the design and launch of our skin academy by building curriculum and accredited programs.
- **Stay Updated with Industry Trends**: Continuously research new trends, treatments, and technology to integrate into training content.
- **Develop Training Materials**: Create manuals, protocols, assessment sheets, and online learning modules to support knowledge retention.
- **Conduct Performance Reviews**: Work closely with the management team to provide feedback and recommendations for professional development.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- **TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment** (or equivalent qualification).
- **Background in Dermal Therapies, Beauty Therapy, or Nursing** (preferred).
- Extensive knowledge of skin treatments, including lasers, microneedling, chemical peels, and advanced cosmetic procedures.
- Experience in **training, coaching, or mentoring** teams within the beauty or medical aesthetics industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate staff.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt training strategies to different learning styles.
- Knowledge of **WHS regulations** and industry compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with using training management platforms and online learning tools (e.g., Trainual, canvas).
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Supplementary Pay:
- Commission
- Performance bonus
**Education**:
- Certificate I - IV (required)
**Experience**:
- Teaching: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- TAE40122 (required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
