Who are we? Code Camp is Australia’s leading specialist school holiday and after-school provider We’ve taught over 90,000 kids in the past 9 years, and employ 1000 casual staff to help us. Our staff work hard and love the collaborative effort of creating unique and engaging learning experiences for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic casual staff to assist at our after-school classes in Term 2

**Are you?**
- Enjoy working with kids (ages 8-12)
- Keen to learn about new technology and passionate about mentoring kids, building their knowledge and confidence
- Able to engage with kids, motivate and manage them within a classroom environment
- Trustworthy, Independent, punctual and reliable
- Available during after-school hours as a regular ongoing class for Term 2
- Able and willing to travel to class location in West Beach SA (possibility for other locations if available)

**Required Skills**:
Whilst we don’t require a specific degree or coding experience, interest in technology is a must and you should have some of the following experience (or similar):

- Experience or enjoy working with young kids
- Tech savvy, ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Beginner coding knowledge
- Mature outlook and ability to identify and take action to manage risk
- Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain it immediately

**About the position**:

- Deliver and facilitate our coding lesson plan to a class of 12-20 students each week
- Set up and pack away equipment (all provided by Code Camp)
- Engaging with the students in a fun and safe way inside and outside the classroom
- Keeping in contact with Head Office if you have any questions or concerns via Slack
- Attend staff training prior to first session (this is completed online at your convenience)
