About the OPPORTUNITY
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Working across all aspects of the Hunter Class Frigate Program, you will assist the Dimensional Control Lead to plan, manage and execute the delivery of Dimensional control activities in accordance with the DC plan, as agreed with the stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Complete day to day Dimensional Control allocated surveys.
- Provide detailed reports in line with contractual requirements in the Dimensional Control activities completed.
- Utilise Dimensional Control & Surveying skills in the pursuit of quality products.
- Ensure any non-conformances found are accurately reported in the Quality tool set.
- Fosters a culture within the Maritime business unit of “Right first time” with Zero Defects”.
- Provide input and offer recommendations as necessary to improve the Dimensional Control processes and standard procedures.
- Assist in the conduct of Internal Product Audits
- Completion of the Dimensional Control inspections as defined by the Inspection and Test Plan, Work orders, Build Plan, Technical Specifications and formal Test procedures.
- Where required undertake Dimensional Control inspections, surveillance inspections & Supply Chain support tasks.

About YOU
- Relevant trade qualifications, highly desirable.
- Practical, knowledge and experience of Dimensional Control or survey measuring activities.
- Surveying experience beneficial
- Use of Total Stations, Auto level, Theodolites, Scanners.
- Auto CAD, 3D model software, GD&T understanding advantageous.
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
