Responsibilities of a Fitter

To assemble NOV Australia pumps and products in line with accepted quality practices, tend machines as required in the day to day running of the fitting shop for motorising of NOV Australia pumps along with bought in equipment.

To work with and advise the Leading Hand of any discrepancies of pump components that are not readily available for projected orders. - To work with and advise the Leading Hand of any product defect identified in the product building area during assembly.

Provide recommendations and measures to improve product assembly methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

Cooperate with the Assembly Manager to ensure a complete skills matrix is kept up to date.

Be aware, undertake and enforce safe work practices.

To display a level of professionalism that provides the platform for a positive working environment.

Comply to all company policies and procedures

Adhere to and play an active role in NOV Australia OHS processes and systems and legislative compliance

Perform such other duties, relevant to the position, as may be necessaryRequired to assemble pumps to required standards using drawings and WI
