Our client has an opening for a highly motivated and self-managed Shipping Clerk to work in the Melbourne Assembly Plant. This position handles orders form packaging shipment to final ship-off.

**Responsibilities**:

- Entering shipment data into carrier systems(TNT DHL Rhenus)
- Entering and certifying data in internal systems
- Attaching appropriate documentation to each shipment
- Confirming shipment carriers and loading trucks
- End of day system closeouts
- Move finished belts from Assembly to Shipping and consolidate orders for shipment
- Pack and process completed orders
- Ensure all completed orders are dispatched on or before scheduled ship date
- Perform housekeeping duties as required
- Exhibit teamwork and self-management
- Follow all safety procedures and policies

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of work experience
- **Forklift Licenses LF required**:

- A prior working knowledge of Oracle operating system would be beneficial
- Previous Shipping experience desired.
- Self-managed and proactive.
- Energetic and well organised.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to work outside of regular work hours, when required (occasional).
- Flexibility to support other departments
