Basic Physician Trainee

Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

Applications are invited from a suitably qualified and enthusiastic medical practitioner to join our team as a **HMO2/BPT1 (Medical)** in the **Medical Workforce **for the 2023 Clinical Year (commencing **May 2023**) - this role is to provide maternity leave cover for the 2023 clinical year.

Successful trainees will be offered a wide selection of general and speciality rotations within a major teaching hospital, a smaller metro hospital (Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital campus), and a large regional hospital (Bendigo Health).

Rosters are created to optimise training experience and speciality time over the basic physician training years.

Please note that these positions will be processed through the Postgraduate Medical Council Victoria Allocation and Placement Service.
