Garden Nursery Assistant

Sunlite Mitre 10 has a small and growing, passionate team who love plants and giftware. We are looking for someone to join the team and help us grow our newly established Garden Emporium and delight our customers with exceptional products and service. We have two retail nurseries located in Paddington and Mosman, Sydney.

Qualifications & experience
- Previous Nursery experience essential
- Must have good knowledge on a large variety of plants including indoors, natives, fruit trees, general nursery plants and giftware
- Must have excellent customer service communication skills.
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Have excellent relationship building skills to ensure outstanding nursery stock.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Customer sales, relationships, orders and delivery
- Creating and maintaining customer relationships and service standards
- Manage maintenance of stock and site including watering, weeding, cleaning, pruning and general site maintenance. Pest & disease identification and treatment as required.
- Ability to select plants and giftware according to the demands of our customers
- Oversee and assist in all aspects of the day to day running of nursery
- Implement strategies and processes to assist with the growth of sales and customer satisfaction
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the day to day running of nursery and nursery development
- Driving to different plant growers’ farms and selecting excellent specimens
- Must have current NSW Drivers License

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
