Tasks include:

- Preparing accounting and financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Conducting financial investigations, undertaking stock takes and audit.
- Maintaining and improving internal control systems by assessing control risks and ensuring statutory compliance.
- Budgeting, monitoring and analysing variances for projects.
- Completing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including liaising with CFO for timely cash flow forecasts.
- Preparing monthly expense report.
- Investigating operating costs and implement various costing techniques for departments.
- Maintaining cash flow statements for every project to assist the projects team.
- Analysing product profitability and identification of trends in product performance.
- Assessing the operating costs, income and expenditure and prepare reports accordingly.
- Implementing cost control program.
- Analysing agreement contracts with clients and sub
- Contractors.
Skill level required:

- Minimum master's degree in accounting/finance or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years experience as an accountant is mandatory.
- High attention to detail, Strong organisation, time management, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience working with MYOB, Xero and Reckon would be beneficial.
- Able to perform under tight timeframes.
- Good team player
- Experience in preparing work in progress claims.
- Sound knowledge of the vendors/distributors/manufacturers/subcontractors and the projects.

**Responsibilities**:
