Our client is a global business that has been operating in Australia for more than 50 years. They are at the forefront of Australian manufacturing and are a leader in their field. They manufacture complex rail maintenance equipment from the ground up, and an opportunity has arisen for a trade-qualified Boilermaker to join their friendly team.

**About the role**:
Working within the Boilershop, you will find yourself operating within a well-resourced and supportive environment, performing the following duties:

- Fabrication and welding of machinery to applicable standards
- Inspecting applicable assemblies and completing associated paperwork
- Identifying hazards, assessing risks, and acting accordingly
- Must have done 1554 COURSE

Working with various gauge materials from heavy steel to aluminum, you will fabricate chassis and help build some of the most unique rail maintenance equipment in Australia from the ground up. You'll work standard hours of 7 am - 3:25 pm Monday to Friday, with optional overtime regularly on offer. You will be given an RDO per month and will enjoy loads of support as you acclimatise to your new role. You'll work collaboratively with other in-house trades regularly.

**What do you need to apply?**:
Essential:

- **1554 qualified**:

- Boilermaker trade qualification with 5 years experience
- The ability to read and interpret drawings and standards
- Solid fine motor skills
- The unrestricted right to live and work in Australia
- Full Covid-19 vaccination
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen

Preferred:

- Overhead crane, mobile crane, or forklift tickets are all helpful
- Rigging ticket is a bonus
