The Role _**

At Infin8care, our Kitchen Assistants work as part of a team dedicated to providing meals which are nutritionally balanced, and freshly prepared meals in a safe and hygienic environment.**_ _**In short, Kitchen Assistants play a key role in meeting our residents’ daily needs.

Working closely with and supported by the Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring food is prepared / delivered to residents in a professional manner. and that the nutritional requirements of all residents are met. In addition, you will ensure that food is stored in a safe, hygienic environment and rotated to ensure use within their time limits. Further tasks included are cleaning of servery area, kitchen, dining room and cleaning of all related equipment.

The ability to “think on your feet”, communicate, with, build rapport and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers is essential as is the desire to making the most of the personal and professional development opportunities we offer.

**_ About You_**

Compassionate, with a customer service mindset, you are a strong communicator and problem solver who ‘thinks on your feet’, builds supportive relationships, and strives for the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

At Infin8care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so you **DO NOT** need experience in the aged care sector, you do however need to be aligned with our philosophy and values have strong communication skills, be computer literate and a commitment to resident wellbeing as well as the following,
- A willingness to weekends on a roster basis.
- A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or have the ability to get one)
- An immunisation record of COVID-19 Vaccine
