Production Planner

Salary from AU$100,000 - AU$110,000 p.a. commensurate to experience.

We are a family-owned company who manufacture and supply chilled and frozen meal solutions to Australian supermarkets and Foodservice operators.

Our established and fast paced facilities are looking for a Production Planner to plan, organise, coordinate and manage the production activities of our large food manufacturing facility in Greenacre. As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for organising production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner. From time to time, you may be required to assist with production planning at our City Kitchen facilities in Arndell Park, NSW.

**The role will encompass the following tasks and duties**:

- Co-ordinate production workflow, including determining, organising, executing, and managing production plans, policies, and strategies
- Develop and execute product demand plans to meet organization goals
- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Oversee production activities and ensure output quality and quantity meet planning levels
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defective products, etc) and analyse information to improve processes, production methods, and recommending strategies
- Managing production output and adjusting operations/activities accordingly to minimise cost, and improve efficiencies
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Maintain inventory levels based on future forecast and address demand related queries and issues in a timely manner
- Work with quality control team, warehousing, and production line staff to ensure productions activities and deadlines are met

**Your will require the following requisite of skills and experience**:

- Proven work experience in production planning and management in food manufacturing industry
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) is desirable
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor degree in project management and/or supply chain management is preferred

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
