**Provide caring, compassionate, respectful and high quality holistic care in Aged, Disability and Mental Health**
We are looking for Support Workers/Care Companion Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high quality service in Aged Care and Disability Support. **Here is a bit more about your role as a companion care worker**:
- You will be a valued team member helping to provide services to support clients’ individual needs in both their home and community
- All of our clients are based on the Northern Beaches and North Sydney
- **Paid hours (casual) + Kilometres + Super - Attractive hourly rates**:
- **Paid time in between back-to-back clients**:
- **Broken Shift Allowance**:
- Shifts available at all times giving you the opportunity create your own hours
- You MUST have a current driver's license and preferably own car to use on shifts
- You MUST be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES as a companion care worker may include**:
- Domestic Assistance
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Assistance
- Respite
- Transport to appointments and shopping, or any other social activity
**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS as a companion care worker**:
- Satisfactory Australian National Police check;
- Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate;
- Smart mobile phone;
- Valid Australian Drivers License and car.
- Ability to provide social and domestic care with joy and kindness - Empathy is essential
- A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people;
- Excellent written and verbal skills as you will have to communicate with clients and our team;
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- High level of time management and organisational ability;
- Willingness to participate in further training and education opportunities.
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $29.00 - $67.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Flexible hours
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Terrey Hills NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
