**Program Eligibility**

To be eligible for the ACT Government Graduate Program, you must:

- Be an Australian citizen, hold Australian Permanent Residency, or be a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport
- Have completed a tertiary qualification in the past **five years** (between 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2023)
- be available to start work on Monday, 5 February 2024

The ACT Government Graduate Program offers adjusted eligibility for people from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with a Disability. If you are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person or person with Disability you must:

- Be an Australian citizen, hold Australian Permanent Residency*, or be a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport
- Have completed a tertiary qualification in the past** seven years** (1 January 2017 to 31 December 2023)
- be available to start work on Monday, 5 February 2024
- _Please note that evidence of citizenship or permanent residency will be required by 30 September 2023 to be eligible for the ACT Government Graduate Program_
