**The Opportunity**:
Applications are open to join WSP’s Sustainability team as a **Sustainability Project Consultant **in our **Sydney** office.

WSP’s Sustainability team is a diverse and dynamic team of professionals, passionate about embedding authentic sustainability outcomes and we are looking for someone interested in leading across all aspects of sustainability consultancy from developing high-level conceptual project strategies, to delivering against defined requirements and verifying performance outcomes in operation.

You will undertake research and use your analytical skills to identify and prioritise critical actions for our clients. You will perform calculations to inform sustainability strategies and technical advice and develop reports and presentations to effectively communicate critical outcomes and messages.

**What we will love about you**:

- Completed tertiary qualification in Engineering and/or Sustainability focused discipline
- Ideally 4+ years of industry experience as a Sustainability Consultant or a similar role
- Demonstrated passion for sustainability
- High level of technical capability to assist with calculations and modelling exercises
- Ability to use basic theoretical knowledge of engineering principles to analyse, interpret and conclude project requirements and challenges
- Proactive and passionate about developing solutions for a low-carbon, sustainably built environment
- Preferred sustainability accreditations that may include GSAP, ISAP, NatHERs Assessor, NABERS Assessor, etc
- Sustainability certification schemes (Green Star, IS ratings, NABERS, NatHERS)
- High-performance building design and optimisation skills, such as operational energy efficiency, embodied carbon calculations, daylight design, water efficiency, climate resilience, thermal comfort
- Climate change risks, opportunities and impacts
- Corporate sustainability strategies and ESG reporting
