Agricultural Technician

All applicants must meet the following criteria
- Applicants must have at least a Diploma or 3 years of relevant experience
- Patient, Hardworking, Resourceful, Trustworthy, Loyal, Efficient
- An understanding of produce specifications and quality and food safety standards.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Constant monitoring of the Farm.
- Sound knowledge in Farm Techniques and Management.
- To be able to work and communicate effectively as part of a team.

Duties for Agricultural Technician:

- Inspecting and monitoring growth rates against targets.
- Nutrient Management Planning.
- Assisting in developing new methods of planting, fertilising, harvesting and processing crops to achieve top land usage
- Assisting in controlled breeding experiments to develop improved crop
- Identifying pathogenic micro-organisms and insects, parasites, fungi and weeds harmful to crops and assisting in devising methods of control

A remuneration package is between $54,000 to $85,000 plus Superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
