**About the Role**

- Help grow the Treasury deposit investor base

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Answer investor and deposit broker enquiries;
- Prepare daily pricing and distribute to existing and new Treasury Money Market customers;
- Provide negotiated deposit pricing for large customers via the Retail & BOQ Business channels;
- Price and monitor to ensure interest rates remain competitive with the drive to deliver volume and cost of funds targets;
- Input deals executed in the Treasury system in a timely and accurate manner;
- Liaise with Operations to ensure all deals settle before end of day cut-off;
- Support the relationship management function of the desk for a broad cross section of external customers including financial institutions, superannuation funds, government, not-for-profit, private and public customers and brokers;
- Support the internal relationship management with retail banking, business and private banking, investor relations, operations and risk;
- Visit existing and potential new customers supporting the Senior Managers to achieve optimal portfolio mix in growth, cost of funds and customer diversity;
- Assist other dealers with deposit pricing or and input deals into Treasury booking systems.

**About you**

Demonstrable experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics or related field.
- AFMA Accreditation / RG 146 compliant within 12 months.

Knowledge & Competencies
- Intermediate spread sheeting;
- Good negotiation skills;
- General understanding of the banking industry and financial markets;
- Good written and oral communication; and
