**The Role**
Bielby is experiencing a period of sustained growth and as a result are seeking a **Safety Advisor** to report to the Senior Safety Advisor, driving excellence in:
As a Safety Advisor you will initially be engaged on a TMR construction project on Brisbane’s northside. You will be responsible for coordinating daily health, safety and environment activities during projects, ensuring legal compliance, safety administration, and the delivery of inductions.
**About You**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Health and Safety such as Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety or other suitable specialisation to meet the project requirement is preferred.
- Prior safety experience gained within a TMR project or civil infrastructure project.
- Ability to effect change to achieve safety targets over a sustained period with a subcontractor and employee workforce.
- Possess knowledge and ability to evaluate and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of safety, quality and environmental management systems standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to influence at various business levels.
- Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation.
- Ability to conduct audits; investigations of safety issues and assist in developing improvement plans based on findings.
- Demonstrated ability to develop safety improvement plans to drive and promote safety awareness programs.
- Understanding of a safety philosophy and previous experience with establishing and implementing these systems in a project environment.
