**What impact will you have?**

Working closely with finance stakeholders and data officers across Macquarie, you will contribute to building effective management of our critical data and development of a data community to ensure governance over our data assets.
- Build key relationships across the wider organisation to support the embedment of the Group data strategy,
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to drive consistency, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide feedback,
- Engage with senior divisional directors to address roadblocks, deliver and/or clarify messages, and act as an escalation point on behalf of the team,
- Present at senior forums,
- Provide progress updates to the Data Risk & Records Management team, and escalate matters when required,

To support the delivery and ongoing monitoring of Frameworks, Standards and Compliance implementation; you will:

- Deliver standards/guidance to divisional portfolio risk teams,
- Develop an aggregated view on the consistency and effectiveness of data management and data risk management within the broader divisions,
- Develop and manage effective attestation processes to support MRL, and other relevant attestations,
- Develop measurable approaches which demonstrate compliance with frameworks,
- Review, and where appropriate, challenge the frameworks for effectiveness.

As an experienced Data Management professional, you will possess a strong interest in data management and governance. You’ll bring strong stakeholder and communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into business concepts to be easily understood by non-technical people. With a passion to help the business engage with data from a governance mindset, you’ll be able to clearly articulate the benefits of data governance to your stakeholders.
