We are looking to employ Upholsterers who are interested in working on the manufacture of commercial furniture for the Australian, New Zealand and Asian market. We currently seek the services of a skilled and dedicated person with skills in Upholstery to become an integral part of our company.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Required to carry out a variety of upholstering duties including stapling and assembling products, whilst also contributing in other areas of the upholstery process in order to produce the highest quality furniture.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- A trade Certificate in Upholstery or with relevant work experience, ideally at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Operating and handling hand power tools specifically Staple Gun experience essential
- Previous experience of working within an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Manual Handling experience
- Great attitude to work
- Reliable work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Hardworking and committed
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

**Salary**

Salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 plus superannuation

Swiss Design Pty Ltd is the primary supplier to one of Australia’s leading environmentally conscious design companies, our manufacturing has pioneered many of the Australian industry’s sustainable practices, Water based glues, CFC free foams and sustainably sourced timbers, all are standard issue on all of the products we produce.

We are located between Sydney’s CBD and the beautiful central coast with our factory based in Mt. Ku-ring-gai, NSW.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: One location
