**The Role**

This role will see you support the Production Supervisors and work closely with the Commissioning Editors on all external commissions and in-house productions
- Work closely with the production community and the SBS internal departments to ensure a smooth commissioning, production and post-production process
- Co-ordinate a commissioned program’s progress through SBS’s administrative, monitoring, approval, payment and delivery processes and procedures up to the end of its license period
- Provide accurate and timely information, advice and assistance to production companies to ensure the successful delivery of materials requested in a commissioned program’s contract
- Co-ordinate, prepare and implement any Special Program Initiatives as directed by Commissioning Editor or Production Supervisors

**About you**
- Previous experience in post-production is desirable, either with a broadcaster or an independent production house
- Knowledge of production and post-production concepts, practices and methodologies
- Developed project co-ordination skills including a proven ability to prioritise tasks, communicate effectively to a range of clients, with problem solving ability, meet deadlines, and pay exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to take direction, use initiative, contribute and adapt to the changing needs of a busy work environment;
- High level organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to undertake research, analyse information and implement priorities in consultation with leaders
- Developed interpersonal client service skills particularly the ability to negotiate successful outcomes in a changing and challenging television production environment.
