Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) is a not for profit organisation that prides itself on being an innovative organisation that exceeds client's expectations, so that people with dementia, the frail aged and their families can have an improved quality of life.

We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Assistant Nurses with a background in Aged Care to join our residential facility in Windsor. This role offers varied shifts, providing the flexibility to work during the day, afternoon, and night, across our 7-day roster. Please note that availability for AM/PM and night duty shifts on Monday - Friday is required for this specific vacancy.

About You:

- You possess a genuine empathy and understanding of the needs of elderly residents.
- You are able to demonstrate a high standard of nursing care, including personal care, continence management, and manual handling.
- Holding a minimum Certificate Level III in Aged Care or equivalent is a requirement for this role.
- You have experience in providing care for elderly
- You communicate effectively in written and spoken English with residents.
- You consistently maintain acceptable professional standards and exhibit a willingness to uphold them.
- You have a desire and commitment to supporting your fellow colleagues.
