**About the role**:
Therapeutic Specialists facilitate trauma-informed therapeutic care within a multidisciplinary team focusing on optimising outcomes for young people who have experienced complex trauma within the child protection system.

The Therapeutic Specialist works as part of the Care Team to formulate therapeutic interventions to promote a safe and nurturing environment in consultation with the young people so they may thrive and reach their potential.

**Essential Criteria**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Mental Health Nursing or equivalent
- Min 5 years post-grad experience, prefer trauma informed experience
- Current professional membership relevant to your qualification
- Current National Criminal History and Working with Children's Check
- Unrestricted NSW Driver’s License
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Covid immunisation
- Eligibility to work within Australia
